Not the normal entry format, but i came across this video on YouTube, which i think exemplifies how good these old Japanese made acoustics sound.
This is an old solid topped Takamine model, which was originally known as the brand Elite in Japan, made by Takamine Gakki. This is the kind of tone i am talking about with a good number of the Martin copies i have written about. I just need to be able to capture it on video as well as this. Anyway, i thought it good viewing. I should also say his other videos are just as enjoyable, and he plays a number of different guitars that are useful for comparison.
